Seaside Tropical Fish

I have been going to this store for about 8 years now, and the owner David is very nice. Seaside has fair prices in both saltwater and freshwater fish. Saltwater fish here are very healthy and I have had no issues time and time again. Employees are knowledgeable as well. Everything about this place keeps me coming back

I’ve been going to Seaside Tropical Fish in Huntington Beach for years, and they’ve consistently been one of the most reliable shops around. The quality of their fish is always top-tier—healthy, active, and clearly well cared for. You can tell they take pride in what they bring in and how they maintain their systems. What really separates them, though, is the service. The staff actually knows what they’re talking about and takes the time to help, whether you’re dialing in a reef tank or just looking for the right addition. There’s no pressure, no nonsense—just solid advice and genuine care for the hobby. It’s not easy to find a local fish store that consistently delivers on both livestock quality and customer experience, but Seaside does it. If you’re serious about your tank and want fish you can trust, this is the spot.

Love this store and the people. David has been extremely helpful in helping me start up a salt water reef tank and has a great!! selection of fish and corals along with tank equipment etc. Please go see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Thanks for everything David and staff. :)

Really cool spot, All the tanks were super clean & well maintained. They had an impressive variety of both freshwater & saltwater fish. Prices were solid too. Definitely a great little shop worth checking out.

Seaside Tropical Fish is so cool! There were so many very cool and unique sea creatures. The aisles were pretty small, but the store felt very intimate. The staff was friendly, and didn't bother a lot. The prices were really good for what I've seen at other stores! It was a lot of fun going in :)
